The Intellectual and Industrial Property Department is integrated by specialized attorneys in this field, both in domestic and international practice.
Our practice includes all contentious and non-contentious issues in the field of intellectual and industrial property, including the registry, protection and exploitation of copyrights, trademarks, patents, utility models, industrial designs, integrated circuits and other industrial property rights, assistance in contracts of transfer and license of such rights, know how and technology transfer contracts, franchising contracts and issues related to unfair competition.
We also offer our knowledge and experience in related issues to intellectual and industrial property, such as illegal advertising, antitrust, consumer protection law, and labeling and sanitary registry.
The objective of the Industrial and Intellectual Property team is to offer and integral service to our clients, in order to present them the most effective and ideal solution to their queries. To this purpose and as required, our team works with the assistance of the other firm departments and with our external consultants, among them, ASEFAR in the field of chemical and pharmaceutical patents.
Our international practice includes as well the collaboration of our extensive network of correspondents. We coordinate with them the registry, protection and maintenance of industrial property worldwide, and specially in Latin America and Europe.
